Karen Sellers Clinical Director

Karen Sellers, LCMHC, graduated with her BS in Elementary Education from Southern Utah University in 1991. While a school teacher in central Utah, she spent her summers as the Education Director at a local wilderness program in the same rural area. During one of the projects to develop the first wilderness program specifically for adjudicated youth in the state of Utah, Karen's connections with Utah Juvenile Justice Services led to a position at a residential treatment program for Youth Sex Offenders in Cedar City, Utah. There she became licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in 2005. Since that time, Karen has worked in residential treatment with both male and female youth with a strong emphasis on family healing and growth as essential for longer success outside of treatment.
